STUFFED CABBAGE SOUP

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 6 tablespoons butter divided
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 1 head cabbage chopped roughly
  • 14 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 14 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 3 cups rice cooked
    STUFFED CABBAGE SOUP

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add the ground beef to a large dutch oven with the salt and pepper and brown it really well then remove it from the pot and add in 4 tablespoons of butter, onions and cabbage and cook for 5-6 minutes until they start to caramelize.
